How to send an invoice on Maplr

Once you’ve created an invoice, you can send it directly to your client or share a public link.

Once you’ve created an invoice, you can send it directly to your client or share a public link. Maplr makes it easy to deliver invoices quickly and professionally.

Step 1: Create or open an invoice

To send an invoice:

  1. Go to Invoices from the top navigation
  2. Click on an existing invoice
  3. or
  4. Create a new invoice

Step 2: Click “Send invoice”

Inside the invoice view:

  • Click the “Send invoice” button

This will send the invoice to your client using the email provided in their profile.

Step 3: Confirm client details

Before sending, make sure:

  • The client has a valid email address
  • The invoice details are correct
  • Line items and totals are accurate

👉 Once sent, the invoice becomes visible to your client.

What happens after sending?

After you send the invoice:

  • The status changes to Sent
  • A public invoice link is generated
  • The client can view the invoice without logging in

Alternative: Share the invoice link

You can also share the invoice manually:

  • Copy the public invoice link
  • Send it via email, text, or messaging apps

👉 This is useful if you prefer to communicate outside of Maplr.

What your client can do

When your client receives the invoice, they can:

  • View the full invoice
  • See taxes and totals
  • Download a PDF copy
  • Check the invoice status
